In a disturbing incident that has left the Highland community in shock, a teenage intruder named John Brown carried out a heinous sexual assault on a woman inside her own residence in Beauly. The assault occurred in the early hours of June 13, 2010, when the victim was abruptly awakened by the unsettling sound of rustling window blinds.As she regained consciousness, she found herself in a terrifying predicament: she was being restrained in a headlock, with the intruder's legs positioned on either side of her head. Despite her efforts to struggle free, the assailant, identified as 16-year-old John Brown at the time, maintained his grip on her wrists and pressed his body against hers, attempting to kiss her during the assault.
The woman, in a desperate attempt to escape, managed to break free from his hold and fled downstairs, pleading with Brown not to harm her further. During this frantic escape, Brown reportedly uttered,
