HIGHLAND PAEDOPHILE HAD GRAPHIC CHILD ABUSE FOOTAGE ON PHONE
Police raided a man's home after receiving a tip-off that he had accessed child porn on his phones.Inverness Sheriff Court was told that officers retrieved two phones belonging to John Boydon, of Crawford Avenue, Rosemarkie and found 35 still images of children being abused plus six videos, some in the most graphic category.
They had a total running time of 26 minutes 41 seconds.
Several of both formats were inaccessible to the normal user, fiscal depute Emily Hood told Sheriff Ian Cruickshank.
The earliest creation date was April 12, 2023 and the latest on October 29, 2024 - the day before police obtained the search warrant.
Sentence was deferred until January 6 for a background report and Boydon's bail was continued.
