Joel McCaffrey, a 38-year-old man originally from Daventry Road, Dunchurch, and formerly residing in Eastern Green, Coventry, has been convicted of serious sexual misconduct involving a young girl.

The charges stem from incidents that took place in March 2019 within the city of Coventry, where McCaffrey attempted to persuade a minor girl to engage in sexual activities.

The case was brought before Warwick Crown Court, where McCaffrey stood trial and was found guilty of the offences.

During the proceedings, it was established that McCaffrey had made efforts to communicate sexually with the young girl, attempting to coerce her into participating in sexual acts.
