JOE JEX FROM KIRKBY LONSDALE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE IN WYRE AND POULTON
In a case that has shocked the local communities, Joe Jex, a 42-year-old man from Kirkby Lonsdale, was formally sentenced in September 2015 to serve a total of eight years in prison for heinous acts of sexual abuse committed against two young girls.The court proceedings laid bare the disturbing details of Jex’s actions, which included an open assault during a children’s birthday party and multiple instances of sexual touching involving another young girl in the towns of Poulton and Garstang.
