WYCHBOLD MAN TO BE SENTENCED FOR ASSAULT AND SEXUAL ASSAULT

A 23-year-old man has admitted to a series of offences, including assault and sexual assault in Worcester.

Joe Croton, of School Road, Wychbold, appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (August 5).

Croton pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Worcester by beating her on Wednesday, January 8.

He also admitted to sexually assaulting a woman in Worcester by touching her without her consent, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a man with the intent of provoking violence, both in Worcester and on the same day as the first charge.

Due to the seriousness of the offences and the limited sentencing powers of the Magistrates' Court, Croton will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Friday, September 5.
