JOE ARNOTT FROM COWDENBEATH SENTENCED TO JAIL IN DUNFERMLINE FOR BAIL BREACHES AND HARASSMENT
A man from Cowdenbeath, Joe Arnott, aged 34, has been sentenced to prison following repeated harassment of his former partner and violations of bail conditions.
Arnott appeared before Dunfermline Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to engaging in threatening and abusive behavior through phone calls and text messages to his ex-partner between August 26 and September 4, at his Dunfermline address and elsewhere.
He also admitted to breaching bail by persistently contacting her via text messages and her mobile phone between October 14 and 16.
Although Arnott denied a charge that he repeatedly violated bail conditions from August 26 to 30, by not being at his bail address when required, he was found guilty after a trial.
Sheriff Charles Macnair sentenced Arnott to 15 months in jail for his misconduct, which included unwanted phone calls, messages, and breach of bail conditions.
The case underscores the repeated nature of his offenses, culminating in his imprisonment.
