SHOCKING SHORT PRISON TERM FOR CHILD SEX OFFENDER IN IRELAND
Evil Jimmy O'Donnell, a dwarf who was convicted of a series of horrific sex attacks on children, has been released after serving only three years of a 50-year sentence.O'Donnell, aged 58, was found guilty of molesting six children, some as young as seven, over a 13-year period.
He was sentenced to 25 charges of indecent assault and attempted sexual abuse.
Despite the severity of his crimes, which included photographing a naked 11-year-old and molesting siblings, he served just three years because he was given multiple concurrent sentences and a final consecutive two-year term.
His good behavior led to his early release, and he was secretly freed from Arbour Hill prison.
Judge Matthew Deery ordered O'Donnell to register as a sex offender, requiring him to inform police of his whereabouts for life.
Locals in his village of Belcruit express concern that he is still in the area, with some claiming he used to take children out on a boat or to a caravan, and that he should not have been released alone.
The court heard that O'Donnell's abuse included threats, threats of murder, and locking victims in his workshop to keep their silence.
The legal team noted his medical conditions and argued his short life expectancy might influence his behavior.
A psychological report suggested that if he were a normal man, he would likely not have committed these acts.
The judge emphasized that the abuse occurred in a community where children were trusted and vulnerable, and that O'Donnell took advantage of this trust.
O'Donnell was housed alongside Ireland's most notorious sex offenders during his incarceration.
