November 2005 Female paedophile is jailed for nine months A 25-YEAR-OLD woman has been jailed for nine months after admitting four counts of sexually penetrating a child.

Jennifer Watson, of Newtown, Trowbridge, was labelled a risk to children by the CID officer responsible for bringing her to justice.

Det Con Jason Roberts, of Trowbridge CID, said Watson was already on the Sex Offenders Register when these latest offences were committed in March and April.

He said: “Jennifer Watson has demonstrated that she is a clear risk to children and young people.

“A term of imprisonment along with an extended two-year sentence on release from custody reflects the seriousness of these offences.” The extended sentence, imposed along with the jail term at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, means if Watson reoffends within two years she will end up back in jail.
