BUCKS PAEDOPHILE JAILED FOR ABUSING SLEEPING GIRL IN MILTON KEYNES
A Bucks paedophile named Jason Keane has been sentenced after being found guilty of abusing a young girl while she was sleeping.
The incident occurred between August and September 2020 in Milton Keynes.
Following a four-day trial at Aylesbury Crown Court, Keane, aged 52 and of no fixed address, was convicted on March 6 of two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration.
He received a prison sentence of eight years and six months.
He is expected to serve at least five years before being eligible for release on conditions.
Keane is also subject to a restraining order and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
During the investigation, Keane attended a voluntary interview on August 16, 2021, and was charged via postal requisition on March 27, 2024.
The court's investigating officer, Detective Constable Michele Weston of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, expressed her approval of the sentence and praised the bravery of the victim.
