PAEDOPHILE JAILED FOR 'ABHORRENT' SEXUAL ABUSE
A man has been jailed for the heinous sexual violations committed against two children more than 30 years ago.
Jason Hardman, from Thorpe Hesley, was responsible for these offences in the town of Rotherham during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
He was accused of nine crimes, which included acts such as indecent assault, attempted rape, and gross indecency.
After a court trial at Sheffield Crown Court, he was found guilty on all counts.
He received an eight-year prison sentence on Monday and was ordered to remain on the sex offenders register permanently.
The police reported that the allegations surfaced when one of the victims made a formal complaint in 2022.
This victim provided a detailed narrative that encompassed years of disturbing sexual abuse.
In the course of investigations, authorities identified a second victim, which led to Hardman’s arrest and subsequent charges.
