TEENAGER FROM COPTHORNE, JASON HANDSCOMB, PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES
A 19-year-old from Copthorne, Jason Handscomb, has admitted to the possession and creation of indecent images of children, including some classified as at the highest levels of indecency.
In addition to these charges, he also pleaded guilty to breaching a previous police caution.
He was remanded into custody and is currently awaiting sentencing, with prosecutors warning that he could face up to three years in prison.
Police investigations revealed that electronic devices belonging to Handscomb contained numerous illegal images and videos, some depicting the abuse of children and animals.
