LONDON MAN JAILED FOR SERIAL SEXUAL OFFENCES ON THE UNDERGROUND
Jamie Sierra-Ferrucho, aged 58, targeted women using the London Underground for sexual offences.He pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual assault and two charges of outraging public decency after four incidents on tube trains.
The first incident occurred on January 25 on a Central Line train between Bethnal Green and Holborn, where a 25-year-old woman reported that Sierra-Ferrucho was touching her inappropriately below the waist.
He continued his offending on February 20 by inappropriately touching a 24-year-old woman on a Jubilee Line train between Canning Town and Green Park, smiling as he touched her below the waist.
On March 14, he was caught rubbing his groin on a Victoria Line train between Kings Cross and Finsbury Park, with a 22-year-old woman managing to photograph him.
The investigation culminated in Sierra-Ferrucho being sentenced to eight months in prison at Blackfriars Crown Court on December 15, after admitting to these four offences.
Detective Constable Andy Parkinson described Sierra-Ferrucho's actions as "disgraceful" and "revolting" and emphasized the importance of victims reporting such incidents.
Additionally, Sierra-Ferrucho was placed on the sex offender register for 10 years and received a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
