JAMES WRIGHT SENTENCED IN CITY TO 18 MONTHS FOR CHILD INDECENT IMAGES

A 39-year-old man named James Wright has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after being found in possession of and involved in the distribution of over 900 indecent images of children spanning more than a decade. Wright also engaged in sharing images and discussing child abuse in various online forums. Authorities conducted a search in 2014, during which they seized his electronic devices, discovering images of children as young as four years old. Wright pleaded guilty to multiple charges; as part of his sentence, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years and is required to adhere to a sexual harm prevention order.
