August 2015 Prison sentence for man who filmed children with hidden camera A man from Norfolk has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for outraging public decency after admitting filming children with a hidden video camera at the Bishop Centre in Taplow. James Webster, 35, of Fengate in Marsham, Norwich, pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place on Saturday, May 30. The court was told that Webster had filmed ‘at least five female children’ between the ages of 18 months and 13 years with a camera hidden in a bag. He was sentenced at Reading Crown Court this morning. Webster was previously given a three-year community order in April for the same offence after admitting secretly filming women in Lidl, in Stafferton Way, Maidenhead, on Monday, January 12. In his summing up, Judge Ian Grainger said that because the latest incident had involved children it demanded more serious treatment. He also acknowledged that Webster appeared to be genuinely ashamed of his behaviour and had admitted to the offences at the first opportunity.
