In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Paignton, Devon, authorities uncovered severe animal cruelty and illegal puppy dealing activities involving James Noon and his son Hamish Noon. The investigation revealed a series of neglectful and inhumane conditions at their properties, leading to multiple seizures of dogs and puppies.Back in February 2010, the RSPCA executed a raid on the Noons' residence located on Blagdon Road in Paignton, where they confiscated a total of 14 dogs and puppies. Despite efforts to improve the animals' living conditions, an additional 12 dogs were taken from the same property at a later date, as the conditions remained deplorable and unfit for the animals' well-being.
James Noon, born on January 17, 1953, and residing at Waterleat Court, Waterleat Road, Paignton (postcode TQ3 3EA), was known to operate a website where he advertised his extensive experience with Dobermans, claiming to have 39 years of expertise. He would travel to Ireland to purchase puppies, which he then brought back to the UK for resale. The puppies were sold at prices ranging from £650 to £1,000, with transactions often arranged in public places such as car parks and motorway service stations. On one occasion, police officers discovered nine puppies crammed into his vehicle, highlighting the scale of his puppy dealing operation.
