Walsall Oldbury Child Sexual Abuser
In December 2011, a former Army Cadet Force sergeant from Oldbury, who had received training in child protection, was spared imprisonment after being convicted of multiple sex offences involving underage girls. James Moylan, aged 21 at the time, was found to have engaged in a disturbing pattern of behavior aimed at young females aged between 13 and 16.

According to court reports, Moylan would shower his victims with affection, attempting to persuade them to send him explicit photographs of themselves. These images ranged from provocative pictures in underwear to fully nude photographs. The court heard that Moylan’s manipulative tactics included
