JAMES MOORE FROM TARBOLTON CAUGHT IN CHILD PORNOGRAPHY SCANDAL AT AYR SHERIFF COURT

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Tarbolton, James Moore, aged 55, faced serious allegations related to the possession and distribution of indecent images of children. The case was brought before Ayr Sheriff Court last week, where Moore was charged with multiple offenses linked to child pornography.

Moore, who resides at McLeod Court in the village of Tarbolton, was found to have hoarded a significant number of indecent photographs depicting minors. These images were reportedly stored at his residence, raising concerns about the safety and exploitation of vulnerable children. The authorities acted on evidence that linked Moore to the possession and sharing of these illicit materials.

During the court proceedings, Moore admitted to three charges directly related to child pornography. He pleaded guilty to taking or allowing the taking of indecent images of children, as well as possessing such images. Additionally, he confessed to distributing or showing these indecent photographs to others, which further compounded the severity of his actions. However, Moore denied involvement in extreme pornography involving animals engaged in sexual acts. The prosecution accepted his denial, and the not guilty plea to that particular charge was formally acknowledged.

Furthermore, Moore also entered a plea of not guilty to a separate charge alleging that he communicated online with someone, expressing a desire to commit a sexual offense against a child. The fiscal, or prosecutor, accepted his plea of innocence on this matter as well.

Following the court hearing, Sheriff John Montgomery ordered that Moore be registered on the sex offenders’ register, a standard procedure in cases involving sexual crimes against minors. The sheriff also mandated a comprehensive risk assessment to evaluate the potential threat Moore may pose to the community. This assessment is part of the ongoing process to determine appropriate sentencing and supervision measures.
