JAMES MADGIN

Depraved Pervert wanted to sexually abuse baby James Madgin age 41 from County Durham, Caught on numerous decoy traps between November 2021 and 2018.

Madgin assumed he was in contact with a decoy school girl “Poppy” then on a second occasion he thought he was speaking to another decoy claiming to be a school teacher who was in fact a undercover police operative posing as a man called “Chris”.

This then continued on to a third occasion where he believed he was speaking with a mother of two children again a decoy.

Mairi Clancy from Teesside Crown Court, prosecuting said how Madgin was initially caught talking sexually to the school girl decoy.

This then followed on to his conversations with decoy Chris where Madgin admitted his interest in abusing children aged between one and five but was in his own words “flexible up to nine” this took place between January and February this year.

The final decoy that posed as a mother of two and claimed to have been abusing her eldest child.

Madgin then asked about her youngest child for more information then asked if the eldest could wear her school uniform for him.

Teesside court also heard hoe Madgin also had hundreds of digital sex abuse images on digital devices when police raided his home.

Madgin, of crescent Sherburn village, pleaded guilty to two charges of attempting to arrange or facilitate commission of child sex offence, attempted sexual communication with a child, possession of indecent images of children in Category A, possession of indecent images of children in category B, And possession of indecent images of children in category C.

Marco Giuliani adjourned the hearing until the 24th of July for a mention hearing with potential sentencing hearing in August.

Marco said the sentencing judge will need more clarity on what offences you were trying to arrange with the child.
