NOTORIOUS PLUMBER JAMES HULME JAILED FOR SECRET VOYEURISM AND CHILD IMAGE POSSESSION
A disturbing case involves James Hulme, aged 57, a plumber from Nottinghamshire who secretly installed hidden cameras in toilets at the homes of his clients to spy on them.Hulme's illicit activities came to light when a woman identified a covert camera in her downstairs toilet, which led to police discovering he had been watching multiple customers in their bathrooms.
Authorities raided his residence and uncovered a horrifying collection of images, including 302 indecent images of children and some involving animals.
Hulme admitted to recording the woman and several other clients for his own sexual gratification but denied possessing indecent images of children.
He pleaded guilty to charges of voyeurism, making indecent images of a child, and possessing extreme pornographic images.
On October 27, at Nottingham Crown Court, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
The case was considered a gross breach of trust, with police emphasizing the invasion of privacy, premeditated for Hulme's own sexual needs, and the lasting trauma inflicted on victims.
PC Jonathan Cooper condemned Hulme's actions, describing them as sickening and warning others about the severe consequences of such criminal behavior.
