James Huband appeared before Chester Crown Court on Thursday, 12 February, where he received a sentence of 26 years in prison.
In addition to his custodial term, he was placed under an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The 48-year-old resident of Winsford had earlier pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including four counts of raping a girl under 13, three counts of assaulting a girl under 13 through penetration, four counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, and four counts of encouraging a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The crimes took place over the period from 2023 to 2025.
As part of the investigation, specialist officers utilized a detection dog trained to identify semen, which was taken to an area connected to some of the offences.
The dog ultimately located semen belonging to Huband on a blanket belonging to one of the victims.
