JAKE MOORE GROOMS VULNERABLE TEEN IN ROCHDALE AND SEXUALLY ABUSES THREE GIRLS
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Rochdale, a young man named Jake Moore has been convicted of grooming a vulnerable teenage girl for sexual activity and abusing a total of three underage girls.The incident, which came to light through a detailed police investigation, highlights the dangers faced by minors in the digital age and the importance of vigilant law enforcement efforts.
In June 2016, Moore, aged 18 at the time, was found to have engaged in a series of inappropriate and illegal activities involving underage girls.
The police investigation revealed that Moore, who resides at Birch View in Wardle, Rochdale, had used the messaging platform Blackberry Messenger (BBM) to establish contact with his victims.
Despite being aware of the girls' young ages, he continued to pursue and groom them, ultimately leading to sexual encounters.
The primary victim was a schoolgirl who was particularly vulnerable, and Moore's grooming tactics involved persistent communication and manipulation through BBM.
The police investigation uncovered that Moore had maintained this inappropriate contact for over a year, during which he sexually abused her.
The case was brought to light when detectives from a specialized team dedicated to tackling child sexual exploitation launched an inquiry into the abuse suffered by this young girl in February of the previous year.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that Moore had been advised by multiple agencies about his contact with the girl, yet he continued his inappropriate behavior.
His continued grooming and abuse prompted his arrest and subsequent legal proceedings.
The police analysis of Moore's mobile phone data was instrumental in uncovering the extent of his offending, revealing that he had also sexually abused two other teenage girls, although their identities are protected for legal reasons.
