WOMAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED AFTER MAKING FALSE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST AN EX-PARTNER
Jade Parker, a resident of Hungerford Road in Crewe, appeared before Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, 26 March, for sentencing after admitting to charges of perverting the course of justice, harassment, and stalking.
The court sentenced her to a term of 30 months in prison.
Between 16 December 2023 and 16 February 2024, the 37-year-old woman made two fraudulent claims of assault against an individual, leading to his arrest on both occasions.
Investigations revealed that her allegations were false, and the man was not even present at the locations where she claimed the assaults occurred.
As a result of her false accusations, she was arrested, which caused significant disruption to the man’s life and deprived him of his liberty.
