FLASHER EXPOSED HIMSELF TO TWO WOMEN IN CALDERDALE
A court has heard how a flasher who exposed himself to two women also downloaded illegal indecent images of children as young as three.
Wilkinson, of St Peter’s Avenue, Sowerby, near Halifax, will have to register as a sex offender and is subject to a five-year sexual harm prevention order.
Bradford Crown Court heard Wilkinson was spotted by a woman on horseback masturbating in his parked car on an isolated road in Calderdale on November 5 last year.
She reported the incident, and when interviewed by police, Wilkinson denied exposing his penis.
About four months later, he approached a woman on a walk in Halifax, asked if she wanted to see it, and she saw his penis.
She reported him, and police recovered 114 indecent images of children on his phone, as well as evidence of internet searches about child exploitation.
Wilkinson pleaded guilty to exposure and making indecent images, receiving a three-year community order and monitoring measures.
He also has one previous conviction for reckless arson as a youth.
