Lincoln Sexual Abuser
A man from Lincoln, identified as Jack Trollope, has been sentenced to two years in prison after he engaged in disturbing and inappropriate communication with a 13-year-old girl. The offences involved sending sexually explicit messages and graphic images, which caused significant alarm and distress to the young victim.

At an earlier hearing, Trollope, aged 37 and formerly residing on Fairfax Street in Lincoln, pleaded guilty to two serious charges. These charges included engaging in sexual communication with a minor and sending a photograph of his private parts with the intent to cause alarm, distress, or humiliation. The court proceedings culminated in a sentencing hearing held at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, 21 March.

It was revealed during the court session that Trollope was already a registered sex offender at the time of the offences. His actions prompted a police investigation, during which he was found to have evaded authorities for an entire week following the crimes. During this period, he was classified as a high-risk missing person, prompting a widespread search.

Eventually, Trollope surrendered himself at Mansfield House Police Station in Leicester. During police interviews, he fully admitted to the allegations, claiming that he had been under the influence of drugs during the week of his disappearance and could not recall the details of his actions. His admission came after a period of evasion and heightened police concern.

The court sentenced Trollope to two years in prison for the offences. Additionally, he was issued a sexual harm prevention order to restrict his future conduct. It was also noted that Trollope was already on the sex offenders’ register, which underscores the severity of his violations.

Furthermore, the court activated a previously suspended sentence that had been imposed on Trollope after he pleaded guilty in December to sending a photo or film of his private area with the intent to cause alarm, distress, or humiliation. The combined sentences reflect the gravity of his actions and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
