A sex offender from Stevenston has appeared in court once again. Jack Mullin, aged 32, was summoned to Kilmarnock Sheriff Court after admitting to a breach of court conditions imposed due to his status as a registered sex offender. Mullin, who resides on McGregor Avenue in Stevenston, is subject to annual notification requirements, which mandate him to update police with his personal details on the same date each year. Between September 5 and 9 this year, he failed to fulfill this obligation without a valid reason.
Mullin pled guilty to the breach when he appeared briefly in court on Thursday, October 12. The judge fined him £520 for the failure to comply with the notification requirements.
