JACK BRADSHAW SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN CHESHIRE FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man identified as Jack Bradshaw has been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison following his involvement in a series of disturbing sexual offences against minors in Cheshire.The case was heard at Chester Crown Court, where Bradshaw, aged 29 and residing on Hartwell Grove in Winsford, faced multiple charges related to the exploitation of young girls.
Bradshaw appeared before the court on Thursday, August 8, for sentencing after a lengthy legal process.
Initially, he had denied all but one of the eight charges brought against him, but he later changed his plea to guilty during a court hearing held on April 30 of the same year.
The charges included inciting a nine-year-old girl to perform sexual acts and engaging in sexual communication with a 12-year-old girl.
The court was informed that Bradshaw had initiated a sexual conversation with the nine-year-old girl in 2021.
During this exchange, he 'intentionally incited' her to engage in sexual acts, a revelation that caused significant concern among the court officials and the public.
The disturbing nature of his actions was further underscored by the fact that he targeted a very young child, highlighting the severity of his misconduct.
In 2023, two years after the initial incident, Bradshaw resumed contact with another young girl, this time aged 12.
The communication was again of a sexual nature, with references made to genitalia and sexual acts.
Additionally, Bradshaw attempted to persuade the girl to view an image depicting sexual activity involving another person, which he sought for his own gratification.
These actions demonstrated a pattern of predatory behavior and a blatant disregard for the safety and innocence of the children involved.
Following his arrest, authorities charged Bradshaw with five counts of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child, and one count of inciting a child under 13 to view an image of sexual activity.
The court proceedings revealed the extent of his misconduct and the calculated nature of his attempts to exploit vulnerable minors.
Judge Steven Everett delivered the sentence, initially imposing 11 years and four months of imprisonment.
This was subsequently extended by an additional three years, bringing the total to 15 years.
Furthermore, Bradshaw received an eight-month sentence to be served consecutively for the charge related to inciting a child to view a sexual image.
The judge also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of several items seized during the investigation, including multiple mobile phones and a sex toy.
In addition to his prison sentence, Bradshaw was placed on the sex offender register indefinitely.
He was also subjected to a lifetime sexual harm prevention order, which imposes strict restrictions on his interactions with minors.
The order prohibits him from residing in the same household as any child under 16 or entering such households without explicit approval from Social Services.
It also bans him from having unsupervised contact or communication with children under 16 unless certain conditions are met, such as parental consent or inadvertent contact during daily activities.
Moreover, Bradshaw is not permitted to use any device capable of accessing the internet unless he notifies the police beforehand.
These measures are designed to prevent further harm and ensure the safety of children in the community, reflecting the serious nature of his crimes and the court’s commitment to protecting vulnerable minors in Cheshire.
