INNES SKENE CAUGHT COVERTLY RECORDING MAN IN TOILET
A man identified as Innes Skene was involved in a voyeurism incident on May 24 in Inverurie.
He entered a public toilet block shared by several businesses and went into one of the cubicles.
During this time, a man in an adjacent cubicle noticed Skene sliding his phone underneath the wall, pointing it upwards toward him.
The man challenged Skene, asking, 'are you f****** videoing me?', to which Skene responded, 'no I’m not'.
Skene then exited the toilet, but the incident was reported to the police.
Authorities later traced Skene, who admitted guilt in court after initially denying the behavior.
He pled guilty to a charge of voyeurism for using his mobile phone to covertly observe the man in the toilet cubicle.
The court, with Sheriff Kevin Duffy presiding, deferred sentence until August to receive reports.
