IAN WILSON, FORMER RAF AND POLICE OFFICER, SENTENCED IN CITY FOR POSSESSING INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN

Ian Wilson, aged 59, has admitted to downloading more than a thousand indecent images of children over an 18-month span. During court proceedings, it was revealed that Wilson was in possession of nearly 2,000 images, some classified in the most serious categories. Wilson claimed that other users had accessed his devices. A former RAF and police officer, Wilson was warned that he is likely to face imprisonment and was ordered to register as a sex offender. The court highlighted the serious harm caused to children by such exploitative material.
