August 2020 Pervert snared with indecent images of children as young as three during raid walks free A pervert snared with 120 indecent images of children as young as three-years-old walked free from court on Monday. Ian Connelly, 31, was caught at his home in Glasgow’s Knightswood last June following a police operation. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard officers raided Connelly’s home on Archerhill Road and seized two hard drives. Prosecutor Adele Macdonald told the court Connelly admitted the devices belonged to him. A total of 120 still and moving images were recovered which featured young girls between three and 14-years-old. Connelly made no comment when quizzed about the stash. He pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to making or permitting to be made indecent images of children. The first offender also admitted possession of indecent images of children. Sheriff John McCormick ordered Connelly to do 200 hours of unpaid work. He will also be under supervision and was put on the sex offenders register for two years.
