SOUTHERY MAN IAN BOYES ADMITS TO CHILD INDECENT IMAGES AND ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY AT CROWN COURT

In a case that has shocked the community of Southery, Ian Boyes, a 36-year-old resident of Feltwell Road, has pleaded guilty to multiple serious charges related to the possession and creation of indecent images involving children and extreme pornography featuring animals. The charges against Boyes include 10 counts of making indecent images, two counts of possessing extreme pornographic images of animals, and one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child.

These allegations stem from material that was produced over a span of nearly 17 years, with the earliest images dating back to December 1999 and the most recent being discovered by police in June 2016. The images were categorized into various levels of severity, specifically categories A, B, and C, indicating the disturbing nature of the content involved.

Boyes appeared at Lynn’s Magistrates’ Court for a pre-sentence hearing, where the court was informed of the extent of his offenses. The police investigation revealed that the images were stored on his devices, and the evidence was sufficient to warrant a serious prosecution.

During the hearing, it was noted that Boyes was released on bail under strict conditions, including a prohibition on any contact with individuals under the age of 18 unless it was unavoidable.
