A man from Cumnock, Iain Sharp, aged 31, has been sentenced after being found guilty of abusive and violent conduct towards a woman.
Sharp was convicted under Section 38(1) of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010, as well as for assault causing injury.
Following his conviction, the Sheriff imposed a Community Payback Order that includes a 12-month Supervision Requirement, meaning Sharp will be under close monitoring by social workers over the next year.
Additionally, the court issued a Non-Harassment Order (NHO) preventing Sharp from contacting or approaching the victim for 12 months.
