MIGRANT WHO TRIED TO RAPE A WOMAN IN AN ALLEYWAY HAS CLAIMED HE COULD NOT HAVE DONE SO BECAUSE HE HAD A ‘MICROPENIS’
Hossein Mohmoudi, aged 35, was convicted last week of the assault, despite his claims that his short penis and obesity made sexual activity impossible. Before coming to the UK, the Iranian national had accumulated five criminal convictions in Germany.
He sought asylum in Britain after crossing the English Channel in a small boat.
While residing in a London asylum hostel, Mohmoudi followed a woman for an hour on her way home from a Christmas party in 2024, the Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
He pursued her over a three-mile distance from Whitechapel to Stratford.
The assault was halted after just 27 seconds when a passing cyclist intervened, and the victim stated that the cyclist’s presence ‘saved’ her.
The jury was presented with various reasons to doubt Mohmoudi’s involvement, including his alleged micropenis and low libido, which he attributed to smoking, depression, and obesity.
Video footage presented during the trial displayed Mohmoudi actively following his victim, crossing roads in sync with her movements throughout the pursuit.
The actual assault was hidden from view by a gate but the jury her scream: “Wait!
Wait!
Wait!
F*** you!
Back off!
F*** off!
F***!” He then allegedly pulled up her skirt and raped her.
Mohmoudi then ran off when the cyclist intervened.
The court also heard that the migrant had previously been reported to police for stalking a woman as she walked her dog.
Prosecutor Christian Moll said Mohmoudi, who left Iran in 2014, had entered four countries illegally – Turkey, Greece, Germany and France – before coming to Britain.
He was convicted twice of assault and three times of criminal damage while in Germany.
“You don’t have any respect for the law, do you Mr Mohmoudi?” Mr Moll asked him.
Communicating through an interpreter, Mohmoudi admitted that on the day before the attack he had been chatting on a fetish website because it was “helpful for my English language”.
Mr Moll responded: “There are other ways to improve your English…” Defending Mohmoudi, David Harounoff said 27 seconds – the alleged duration of the attack – was too short a time for him to attempt rape due to his alleged medical issues.
He told jurors that Mohmoudi has a small penis and cannot “get it up”.
But the victim said the attack had happened “so fast you couldn’t even think”.
Recalling the attack, the victim told jurors: “I just remember thinking he was foul.
“Really disgusting.
Not clean.
The smell.
He was a smelly man.
I think it’s still on me.
A smoker.
Not somebody who looks after themselves.” Consultant urologist Dr George Fowlis told the court that Mohmoudi’s penis was “normal” size.
The jury also heard that Mohmoudi had received an email from a sperm bank about his application to donate.
The asylum seeker – who was sentenced to ten months for piloting the boat across the Channel – will be sentenced next month for the assault.
