A retired priest has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a secondary school student during the 1980s in Ireland. Henry Moloney, aged 77 and previously based in Dublin, was convicted on seven counts of indecent assault involving a student while serving as a choirmaster and music teacher at Rockwell College near Cashel, County Tipperary. The incidents occurred inside the college's chapel and in Moloney's room during a single school year. Throughout the trial, Moloney maintained his innocence, denying the charges. His sentencing has been scheduled for 15 December.
