WELSH DETECTIVE CHARGED WITH SEX OFFENCE
A Welsh police officer has been placed on suspension after being detained following an incident in the Colwyn Bay region.The officer named by North Wales Police is Detective Constable Harshey-Jones.
DC Jones faces charges of using equipment beneath clothing without consent, which violates sections 67A(1) and (4) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
These charges are related to an event that occurred on Thursday, June 11.
He was later remanded and scheduled to appear in court on June 16, where he was granted bail.
His next court appearance for a plea hearing will take place at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, July 14.
North Wales Police stated that they would not comment further on the case at this time, deeming it inappropriate to do so.
