SWANSEA MAN JAILED OVER VIOLENT STRANGER ATTACK IN BONYMAEN
Grantham Jones, a 37-year-old man from Bonymaen in Swansea, has been sentenced to twelve months in prison after he launched a violent and unprovoked assault on a female stranger in Bonymaen.
The attack involved Jones delivering multiple punches and blows to the victim's face, continuing until she was able to escape.
Following the incident, Jones and his associates attempted to intimidate the witness into recanting her account to police.
Detective Sergeant Mark Kayes commented that Jones appeared to take pleasure in enacting violence and posed a danger to others, emphasizing that his imprisonment was justified.
The court found him guilty of violent conduct, and he began serving his sentence as a result.
