GRANTHAM MAN GRAHAM KIRK SENTENCED TO 20 MONTHS IN PRISON FOR CHILD INDECENCY OFFENCES

In June 2014, Graham Kirk, a 57-year-old resident of Hawthorn Court in Grantham, was sentenced to 20 months in prison following a series of offences involving indecent images of children.
The sentencing took place on Friday at Lincoln Crown Court, where Judge Heath presided. Kirk was found guilty of 18 charges, which included making, possessing, and sharing indecent images of minors, as well as possessing extreme pornography and prohibited images.
DC Nicky Linn of the Internet Child Abuse Team (ICAT) commented on the case, stating, “We hope it sends a reassuring message to the County that this man will serve a significant sentence for making and possessing indecent images. It’s also a clear message to offenders that this will not be tolerated.”
