In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Glenrothes, authorities conducted a police raid on the residence of Graham Keith, uncovering a significant collection of illegal and highly disturbing material. The search took place at Keith's home on Allyre Avenue, where officers discovered hundreds of child abuse images stored on a computer located in his bedroom, along with two USB sticks containing additional illicit content.
During the investigation, it was revealed in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court that among the images and videos seized, a substantial number were classified as Category A, indicating the most severe form of illegal material. Specifically, 99 of the images and 33 of the videos fell into this category. Of these, 37 images and all of the videos were accessible to Keith at the time of the search on November 28, 2023.
Prosecutor Sarah Smith, the fiscal depute, stated that Keith had personally identified the computer and USB devices as his own and had provided the passwords necessary to access them. The items were subsequently seized by law enforcement officials. Digital forensic experts examined the devices and conducted a preview of the content, which confirmed the presence of indecent images of children. The videos, which had a combined duration of 25 minutes and 15 seconds, further underscored the severity of the case.
