GORDON TRUSSLER SHOCKS FIFE WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT SEX ACT INCIDENT
In February 2020, a disturbing incident occurred on a bus traveling through Fife, involving 68-year-old Gordon Trussler from Dunfermline.The incident took place during a journey operated by Stagecoach between Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, where Trussler was caught engaging in a sexual act while simultaneously leering at a young schoolgirl.
According to reports, the teenage girl, only 16 years old, was visibly terrified and left in tears after witnessing Trussler’s inappropriate behavior.
The footage of the incident, which quickly circulated on social media, shows Trussler repeatedly licking his lips, staring directly at the girl, and touching himself in a lewd manner.
Despite the presence of a camera filming his actions, he continued to fumble with his trousers’ zipper, suck his thumb, and make suggestive gestures.
Throughout the ordeal, Trussler would occasionally lean forward, maintaining his gaze on the young girl, while also patting his crotch and rubbing himself in a clearly inappropriate manner.
The distress caused to the victim was palpable, and her emotional response was evident as she was left in tears after the incident.
Following the incident, law enforcement authorities swiftly intervened.
Trussler was detained and subsequently appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to a contravention of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
The court proceedings revealed the seriousness of his actions and the breach of public decency.
He was released on bail, with the court deferring sentencing until April 3, pending the results of social work reports.
As part of the court’s measures to prevent further incidents, Sheriff Pino Di Emidio issued a ban on Trussler from traveling on any form of public transportation until the next court hearing, emphasizing the gravity of his misconduct and the need to protect the public from such behavior.
