Horsham Child Sexual Abuser
A man identified as George Voisey, aged 24 and formerly employed as a police officer in Horsham, has made an appearance in court facing serious allegations related to the distribution of child sexual abuse material. Voisey, who resigned from the police force last year following his arrest, was brought before Brighton Magistrates Court to answer these grave charges.

The case came to light after Sussex Police received a crucial tip-off from the National Crime Agency in October. This intelligence prompted an investigation that uncovered the disturbing evidence of Voisey’s alleged involvement in sharing illicit images.

The charges against Voisey are particularly severe, involving the distribution of a Category A video depicting a child estimated to be between nine and ten years old. Category A is classified as the most serious level of child abuse material, indicating the highest degree of harm and exploitation. In addition to this, the prosecution has also charged him with distributing five images categorized as Category B and seven images classified as Category C, each representing different levels of severity in child exploitation imagery.

During the court proceedings, Mr. Voisey did not enter a plea to the charges. The case has been scheduled for further hearing next month, where he will have the opportunity to respond formally to the allegations. The case continues to develop as authorities seek justice for the victims and ensure that those involved in such heinous crimes are held accountable.
