NEWARK MAN GEORGE BARRIE TO BE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN WALES
George Barrie, a 25-year-old resident of Winchilsea Avenue in Newark, is set to be sentenced for a sexual assault at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
He has already pleaded guilty to the crime, which took place at Heol-Y-Coleg in Newtown, Wales, on July 3.
The incident involved him deliberately touching a woman over the age of 16 without her consent.
Following his admission on July 6, the case was postponed to allow for a pre-sentence report.
Barrie’s conviction concerns non-consensual sexual contact with a woman over 16, and he will soon receive his court judgment.
