LIVERPOOL MAN JAILED FOR HORRIFIC CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITING MINORS

A man has been jailed on his birthday after being unmasked as a depraved "monster". Gary Stockley subjected one young girl to a catalogue of horrific sexual abuse.He also took sickening pictures of another child on his mobile phone. The mum of one of his victims labelled him as the "lowest of the low" and the "dregs of society" as he was handed a lengthy prison sentence on the day he turned 43 yesterday, Tuesday. Liverpool Crown Court heard that Stockley, of Parthenon Drive in Norris Green, repeatedly sexually abused one of the complainants starting when she was aged as young as seven. She was raped and sexually assaulted at his hands countless times and ordered to perform sex acts upon him.When his phone was seized, it was discovered he had taken eight explicit photographs of a second girl when she was as young as five. The prosecution described the abuse as "vile," and the court heard that Stockley exchanged extreme pornographic images via WhatsApp, including a woman having sex with a horse, and others depicting sexual acts with a frog and a cactus.In a statement read to the court on her behalf, the complainant's mother said Stockley's actions were "unforgivable" and called him a "monster." She stated, "Her world has been shattered. As her mother, I felt hopeless when she broke down. I hear her cry herself to sleep at night. You did this to her. You caused her this pain. You are sick and the lowest of the low, the dregs of society. I am here to pick up the pieces and will not let my little girl suffer any more."Stockley has no previous convictions. His defense lawyer mentioned that he had no criminal record, had a strong work ethic, and was currently employed in laundry work. The judge sentenced him to 22 years in prison with an additional three-year licence, handed him a lifelong sexual harm prevention order, and a lifetime sex offenders' register requirement.
