GARY PORTER, 52, JAILED FOR ONLINE CHILD GROOMING AND INDECENT IMAGES
Pervert Gary Porter has been sentenced to 12 months in jail after it was found he engaged in sexual communication with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.
Under the pseudonym 'The Horny Devil,' he conducted sex chats, encouraged behaviors such as touching herself, and sent explicit images and a video allegedly of himself having sex.
His phone was seized upon arrest and contained nine indecent images of children.
Porter, aged 52 and from HMP Featherstone, admitted to charges including attempted sexual communication with a child and making indecent images of a child.
The court revealed he has a significant criminal history with 24 previous convictions involving 55 offences, such as attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming, which previously resulted in a 16-month jail sentence.
The judge, Robert Brown, ordered Porter to be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years and to register as a sex offender for the same duration.
He has no issues with drugs or alcohol, and the court recognized his effort to stay clean.
Porter pleaded guilty to the charges, and his actions prompted a 12-month imprisonment, emphasizing the seriousness of online child exploitation offenses.
