DUNFERMLINE MAN HAD MORE THAN 9500 INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
Gary Ewing, 63, of Dover Way, appeared in the dock at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.The illegal activity took place over a period of almost five years.
Ewing admitted that between December 21, 2019 and August 5, 2024, he downloaded indecent images of children.
Police acting on intelligence were granted and executed a warrant at Ewing’s home.
They seized devices that contained over 9500 inaccessible images and videos, with over 270 in the most vile ‘A’ category.
Due to the volume, the analyst stopped grading further files; there are more ungraded CSAM files.
The illegal content involved children as young as four-years-old.
The court heard that Ewing's devices had more than 9500 indecent images.
The sentencing is scheduled for April 23, with Ewing being placed on the sex offenders register.
