GARRY MONCUR FROM GREENOCK SENTENCED FOR GROOMING 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN SCOTLAND
Garry Moncur, aged 49 and hailing from the town of Greenock, has been handed down a prison sentence of 33 months following his involvement in a disturbing grooming case involving a young girl.The incident, which took place over a period of approximately one month, involved Moncur engaging in manipulative and predatory behavior aimed at a 12-year-old girl.
According to the court proceedings, Moncur purchased items such as black tights for the young girl, which appeared to be part of his grooming strategy.
He also sent her inappropriate and concerning text messages, attempting to establish a clandestine and inappropriate relationship.
The court heard that he convinced the girl to leave her home secretly in order to meet him in a secluded woodland area, raising serious concerns about her safety and well-being.
Further investigations revealed that Moncur had been following the girl to her school, indicating a persistent effort to monitor and manipulate her.
