Ballymena Sexual Abuser
A man identified as Garry Luna, 36 years old, has been accused of serious sexual offenses against two teenage girls in Northern Ireland. He was brought before Limavady Magistrates Court and formally charged with five counts, including sexual communication, common assault, inciting a child aged 13-16 to engage in sexual activity, sexual assault, and facilitating or arranging for sexual activity with a minor. The charges relate to incidents between an unknown date in March and 24 May of the current year.Details from police reports reveal that Luna's alleged conduct involved taking the victims to his residence on Clarence Street. The court proceedings indicated that Luna took the girls into his home, attempted to kiss one of them, and was 'nipping her on the leg.' He then allegedly led her into a bedroom where another man was present, and this individual is accused of committing a 'serious sexual assault' on the girl. The police report states that after the incident, the girl exited the room and heard her friend shouting from another bedroom. The two girls then left Luna's house immediately. The victim's account suggests multiple instances of inappropriate and criminal behavior by Luna, which prompted the court to refuse bail. District Judge Peter King ordered Luna to remain in custody and adjourned the case until July 17. The case has garnered significant attention, and Luna is scheduled for further proceedings to address the allegations made against him.
