GARETH GEDDES FROM STRANRAER CONVICTED OF CHILD ABUSE

In May 2014, following a two-week jury trial held in Stranraer, Gareth Geddes, a 27-year-old resident of Coronation Drive, was found guilty of repeated assaults on a two-year-old child in 2012.

The court heard that Geddes had struck the young boy on both the head and body.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.
