FREDERICK COOK SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR BRUTAL RAPE IN PONTYPOOL AND CARDIFF

In a significant case that has shocked the community of Pontypool and the surrounding areas, Frederick Cook, a 63-year-old man residing on Canford Close, Trevethin, was sentenced to a lengthy prison term for a heinous crime committed decades ago.

The incident in question involved the brutal rape of a schoolgirl during the 1980s, a period when Cook was in his late twenties.
