CARMARTHENSHIRE MAN JAILED FOR GROOMING UNDERAGE GIRL DECOY
A 59-year-old man named Frank Standring residing in Ilston, Llanelli, engaged in inappropriate messaging with a decoy account pretending to be a 13-year-old girl.
The court was told he initiated contact on Facebook in May 2022, unaware the account was run by the paedophile hunting group Dank Dragon.
Despite being informed she was only 13, Standring asked about her underwear, expressed interest in older men, and urged her to keep their conversations secret.
He also sent her explicit images, including a picture of his erect penis.
He conveyed love and suggested they meet at the cinema, and asked her to perform a sexual act.
Members of the hunting group confronted him at a church in Carmarthen where he was helping homeless people.
