Bingley Child Sexual Abuser
In December 2012, police discovered 97 moving images depicting child abuse on the computer of Fabio Amato, a resident of Bingley. The videos featured children as young as three years old. The images were uncovered during an investigation into an incident where Amato had injured his hand with a firework. The authorities seized his computer from his flat and found the explicit content. Amato, aged 28 and residing at Merchants Court, Bingley, pleaded guilty to 13 charges of producing indecent images of children. He was subsequently sentenced to eight months in prison at Bradford Crown Court. Prosecutor Robert Galley also noted that there were three still images stored on the same computer and additional images kept on another device.
