EWAN DEERING FROM HALCRO SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL MESSAGE OFFENSES IN WICK
A young man hailing from the village of Halcro, Ewan Deering, has been formally sentenced following his involvement in sending inappropriate and sexualized messages to a 13-year-old girl.
The case was brought before Wick Sheriff Court, where it was revealed that Deering engaged in online conversations with the girl across three different social media platforms during the months of February through April 2022.
Initially, Deering believed that the girl was 16 years old, which influenced his decision to communicate with her.
